May 21, 2013
Summer is almost over, it has started
to rain again. Actually for me, I love when it rains. We have to
close summer by having to go to Baler one more time. My son loves
waterfalls, so we go.
The dates May 18 and 19 are actually
the dates my uncle and aunt and cousins suggested. Two vehicle
convoy Toyota Fortuner and our Jimny. We left home by 0530 hours,
quite late, and hit NLEX, SCTEX, Carmen, Rizal, Pantabangan then
Baler. By 1200 we were in Baler. We looked for a place to stay, and
wow, we weren't able to find a hotel to stay. Baler is soooooo full
of people. It took me 1 hour to go around Baler to find a place to
stay, I didn't find one.
So we ate lunch at Bayler, the food
service is fast and food is nice. Then we headed to Caunayan Falls
in San Luis. My son was so happy to see this place again. As usual,
the water is cold and clear. My son really enjoyed bathing. My
son's cousin Jana also enjoyed the place as well as my cousins. How
nice the place is? Watch the video below.

Then we headed to Diguisit, and decided
that we stay in cottages in Diguisit priced at 500 pesos per cottage
per night. We did not have any choice. So we rented 3 cottages on a
camping mode. This place has swimming pool.
We bought fresh fish in the market then
grilled the fish. Some were made into tinolang isda. We enjoyed
eating.
The not so good thing about this place
is that, other visitors are creating so much noise either by karaoke
thing or just shouting. You know these kind of people. One group
started using the karaoke at 2000 hours and stopped at 0400 hours.
So inconsiderate knowing other people are sleeping in tents /
cottages too. Then another group started shouting at 0500 hours.
These people.... really..... homo habilis minds....
We ate grilled fish and eggs for
breakfast then headed to Dicasalarin cove. The entrance fee to the
cove is 100 pesos per person. The place is nice. Then we went back
to Diguisit to eat lunch. We had tinolang manok and octopus for
lunch, nice.
Those were 2 days filled with good
things. We were happy.
